We are the cure for common wedding music! Strings Etc. has performed for thousands of weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and other lifetime events for the past twenty years in Central Florida. We understand that every event is unique, and we cater to the “anti-bride” or “offbeat bride.” Couples want to have their favorite music and interests represented in their wedding, yet still want to incorporate more traditional elements in the occasion. Strings Etc. is the first ensemble in Central Florida to “marry” the elegant instrumentation of a string quartet with the classic and modern music of today.

Do you have a theme – Fantasy? Fairy Tale? Steampunk? Goth? Movies? Strings Etc. has created exclusive arrangements and performed for themed weddings, including those based on Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Braveheart, Twilight series, Star Wars series, Star Trek series, Halo series, Dr. Who series, Cowboy Bebop, and many others. We have costumed ourselves for many of these events to fit the theme, and have even performed for a wedding at a clothing-optional resort. We have also performed for events with other themes: Fantasy, Faerie, Royal, Celtic, Chic, Science Fiction, Halloween, Gaming, 1950s – 1980s, Military, Modern, Urban, Romantic, Victorian, Southern, Anime, Cosplay, and even Horror and Zombie. We have also performed for traditional Japanese wedding ceremonies (yes, we have a full collection of antique kimono and several of the traditional instruments).
