Strings Etc. was founded in 1992 to provide exceptional string ensembles for weddings and special events. Michelle Jones, founder, has over 30 years of musical experience. She is an accomplished violinist and violist that has performed with numerous symphony orchestras in the Southeast, and continues to tour professionally with artists, including Josh Groban, Anne Murray, Sarah Brightman, Bernadette Peters, Manhattan Transfer, Michael MacDonald, Art Garfunkel and many others. She is currently performing with the several symphony orchestras, Violectric, VioChic, and Classic Albums Live, as well as teaching violin, viola and piano to students of all ages. Michelle works with a variety of talented musicians to create various ensembles. These musicians include internationally renowned symphonic musicians and studio artists. Strings Etc. is dedicated to providing the highest quality live music for your wedding or special event.

We have packages that combine performers for both your ceremony and reception saving you money. Our strings can provide a traditional string quartet for the ceremony that morphs into a unique electric string rock group for the reception.
